How it works

Pay sign in three steps

01

Choose your provider

PayPal, Revolut, Venmo, Cash App or your own payment link.

02

Paste your link

Open it on a phone first to make sure it lands on the right page.

03

Print the sign

Print on A4 or A5 and put it at the till, on the counter or on the table.

Tips

Payment signs that people trust

  • Show your business name on the sign so people know whose page they will open.
  • Check the sign regularly. A sticker pasted over a payment code is the main risk.
  • If the provider lets you add an amount, do it for fixed prices such as a ticket or a deposit.
  • Keep the original link: if you change providers, make and print a new sign.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Which payment links can I use?

Any web link that opens a payment page: a PayPal.Me link, a Revolut payment link, a Venmo or Cash App profile, or your own checkout page. Open the link on your phone first to be sure it works.

Is it safe to put a payment code on a counter?

Print it on a clearly branded sign and keep it where you can see it. Check the code regularly: a sticker pasted over it is the main risk with printed payment codes.

Can I set an amount in the link?

Many providers let you add an amount to the link. Add it before you make the sign, or let the payer type it.

Does BestQR handle the payment?

No. The code just opens the link you give it. Payments are handled entirely by your provider.
